Our Ministries
Nursery
At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children under 3 years of age.
Loving volunteer nursery workers provide a clean and safe environment, giving you peace of mind while you attend worship services or classes. The nursery is available for each service.
Sunday School
Sunday School at Faith Baptist Church is a growing part of our ministry. We have classes for every age group–from nursery through adults.
Our teachers are dedicated to helping their students come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, as well as providing practical application of God’s truth, enabling them to grow in their Christian lives.
Children’s Church
Children’s Church is exactly what it says–church for the “children”–ages 3 through the 6th grade. In conjunction with the adult worship service on Sunday mornings, Children’s Church provides a special setting for our children to pray, sing, and learn the Bible on their level. Our Junior Church is not just a game time, or a babysitting time. It is a time dedicated to teaching our youngsters the Word of God. Our goal is to see lives changed and souls saved–even the lives and souls of the “little children.’
Children
Each Wednesday evening throughout the school year we run exciting programs for our children from 6:30 p.m.—7:40 p.m. Children ages 3,4,5 are involved in the Patch the Pirate Club. It is an interactive program with singing, bible stories, fun stories, and Bible verses. Children K–6th grades age involved in our C.O.R.E. program. It involves a fun opening time, Bible lesson, and verse time. The Bible stories are designed to take the children through the whole Bible. Their night ends with a fun-filled interactive game time. The children work throughout the year to earn awards. They also have opportunities to visit our candy store several times throughout the year. We also provide quarterly activities to create an atmosphere of fun and fellowship. Come join us on a Wednesday night for an exciting evening for your children.
Teens
This ministry is for teens going into the 7th grade and through the 12th grade. The teens meet every Sunday morning for Sunday School at 9:45am where the focus is on working through a book of the Bible and learning how to do Bible study on their own. Every Wednesday night at 6:30pm, the teens meet for a time of fellowship and a sermon that will be both challenging and doctrinally sound. This midweek meeting is a highlight for fun, fellowship, and foundational development in God’s Word. The teens have activities throughout the year with the two big ones being summer camp in Wisconsin and the fall Harvest Fest in Flushing, MI.
The Bible says, “Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” 1 Timothy 4:12, and our goal is to help teens to grow and honor the Lord Jesus Christ.
Men’s and Women’s Bible Study and Breakfast
On the first Saturday of every month (Sept-May), we meet for breakfast in the back at 8:30am. Once this time of fellowship is finished, we divide into a men’s and a women’s Bible study. These Bible studies will focus in on topics relevant to the day and the spiritual growth of the believers at Faith Baptist Chruch. Join us for a great meal and a focused time of study in God’s Word.
Missions
We believe that Jesus Christ died for the sins of all men, and we desire that people from every country be presented with the truth of God’s Word. Rom. 10:17 says, “…faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.” In conjunction with other independent Bible-teaching churches, we support missionaries that take the Gospel message to people throughout the world. It is our prayer that people around the world will receive Christ as their personal Saviour, follow Him in believer’s baptism, and obey His Word as they are taught.
Matthew 28:19-20 says, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”
